The sixth REHES conference will be held at University of Zurich on 29 and 30 Aug. 2024
The fifth REHES confernce will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of Novemeber 2023.
The organizer, Prof. Dr. Benedetto Lepori, gave an Interview about the REHES IV conference.
In the current issue of the Swiss Journal of Educational Sciences (Volume 43, Issue 3), Christian Wassmer and Carole Probst present results of their study on authors and topics in higher education research between 2009 and 2018 (link to article). This review provides an excellent insight into the development and state of the field.
On September 6 and 7, the network met for the third REHES workshop. Besides many interesting contributions and fruitful exchanges, the network welcomed three new members: Karin Gilland-Lutz, Lukas Scherer and Mirco Saner. At the REHES meeting it was also decided to establish a working paper series to increase the visibility of research from the REHES circle. The next REHES meeting is scheduled to take place in October 2022 in Lugano and will be organized by Benedetto Lepori and Marco Cavallaro (USI).
On January 18, 2021, the REHES network gave itself a new foundation with the previously elaborated network principles.
The third REHES conference will be held on the 6th and 7th of September 2021 at the ZHAW in Winterthur.
On September 11 the Observatory Science, Politics and Society at the University of Lausanne organized the second REHES conference. Current research projects and several potential forms of institutionalization were discussed.
A new position paper regarding "Producing and sharing knowledge on the Swiss higher education and science system".
The Observatoire Science, Politique et Société (OSPS) is organising the second workshop on research on higher education and science in Switzerland.
The working group held a kick-off meeting to discuss the desired activities, possible forms of self-organisation and concrete next steps.
Interview with the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research about the project "Research on Universities and Science in Switzerland".
On the 2nd and 3rd of September 2019, a two-day kick-off event of the project took place at the University of Bern.
