Institutionalised competition and cooperation in higher education and science
On Friday, 7 November 2025, the seventh REHES conference took place in Olten. With the support of the Swiss Science Council, two panels discussed pressing issues relating to the development of the Swiss higher education system.
The panel discussion on the issue of political regulation in the context of competition and cooperation was attended by State Secretary Martina Hirayama, Daniel Schönmann (Canton of Bern), Sabine Süsstrunk (EPFL and SWR) and Luciana Vaccaro (HESSO and swissuniversities).
